Hello...
I found a good deal on a MTH ProtoSound 2.0 loco that I couldn't pass up. It runs fine on my TMCC system in conventional mode. I've decided to add the DCS system, so I can have control over all the options on ProtoSound 2.0 loco's. My intent is to have both systems operational (which I've read others have done successfully). With the planning I've researched, it appears I'll be able to run my conventional loco's under TMCC with the TPC 300 (which I've read controls conventional loco's better than DCS conventional), plus have options to run TMCC loco's with the TMCC system, or with the DCS system, in command mode.
I'll try to post back when I get the DCS system, get it hooked up, and see how the systems operate together.

Hello...
Received the DCS system. It was simple to install, and with a suggestion from Shawn Conister (Shawn's Trains), incorporating it with my TMCC system worked fine.
I'm impressed with the DCS and Protosound 2.0 systems. Control of Loco has really been impressive, to me. Sounds are great.
Switching between DCS and TMCC controlled conventional mode is easy, and works great. I don't have a TMCC command control Loco yet. That will be my next project, to aquire the TMCC Loco. But, I don't forsee and problems, since everything is already hooked up to run it.
So, to sum it up. I'm glad I ordered the DCS system, and so far I'm very satisfied with it.
